Professional Council
Nobody practises on a lapsed registration
Council registrations, CPD and ethics for the staff whose right to practise is granted by a professional body — with an expiry radar and a guard on appointment.
SACE
What it is
Professional Council holds the regulated professional lifecycle for your staff: their council registrations and the readiness packs behind each application, continuing professional development against a points schedule, professional standards and growth plans, the approved development providers they may earn points with, and their ethics attestations. The expiry radar shows whose registration lapses next, and Appointment Guard checks the registration before somebody is put in a role that requires one. SACE Connect is the first council adapter and the engine is council-agnostic.
Replaces: A spreadsheet of registration numbers and a diary reminder
What it does
- Council registration records with renewal dates and status
- Application packs assembled from the staff record
- CPD points against a per-council schedule, with evidence
- Approved development provider register
- Ethics attestations per cycle
- Expiry radar: whose registration lapses next
- Appointment Guard: a role that needs a registration checks for one
What changes for you
A lapsed registration is found by the radar rather than by an auditor
Nobody is appointed to a role their registration does not cover

Worth knowing before you ask
The seeded rule sets and points schedules are a STARTING POINT, not verified regulatory content: a platform operator must check and publish them before a council decision rests on them. SACE is the only council adapter today, and nothing here registers anybody with a council — it prepares the pack and tracks the outcome.
